I hear that even though these posts are called Kink Memes, I can still prompt things that are more story/headcannon related rather then relationships, smut, and kinks?do take this prompt down if im incorrect.
Either wise, Bucky has just recently escaped the grubby little fingers of hydra, and being on a reasonable yet boring house arrest spends time psychoanalizing all the people who he comes in contact with. Arguing amiably with the cynical voice in his head if this random person on the street had cereal or oatmeal in the morning. The voice is usually an utter brat so that's plus.
Some days when the gang comes back from their dashing rescue of the ever darling maiden-in-distress, the earth, he notices that Anthony Edward Stark has a gash on his upper thigh. Discreet but there. He knows that usually a gash like that would cause some amount of pain but... Stark looks as per usual.
This requires some investigation.
(It also helps that stark may be the slightest bit attractive, but the voice in his head is usually quiet when he does lament stark's... Hips, so noones gonna judge him)
somewhere along the line, investigations hold results. Wow, you won! Tony Stark has Chronic Pain. WOOOoW. (I mean he lived with steve who as a scrappy little kid probably also had chronic pain, til the serum)
sometimes tony just, doesn't notice an injury over the cacophony of pain, issues of the arc reactor ammiright?
Bucky, bleeding heart he is, starts to kinda sorta get to know stark? Then stark becomes tony, then it's offerings of food, then it's handing tony a hand with health issues (decreased lung capacity, immuinocomprimised, chronic pain ect ect) then one fateful day tony walks into the common room where the rest of the team were sorta just hanging with a cut on his hand. Bucky from his position on the couch, reading a book, sees the cut, tells tony he's been injured, and hands him a perfectly sized bandage he just happened to have. Tony sleepily takes it (i dont like to be handed things) locates the cut, and aplies the bandage.
The team is bamboozled.
Questions and things come to light.
+If bucky is a total diva, taking to the modern age much more gracefully than Cap. Memes, hair dye, braids, the modern age is great.
