Re: Master of Illusion vs suicidal HYDRA goons

That is actually mildly terrifying.

I'm getting a very Lelouch feel from this, to be honest. XD

A bit later on there will be some run-ins with some teammates. Stay tuned!

De-Aged-Tag Curse

(Anonymous) 2017-08-30 04:00 am (UTC)(link)
So you know how with the game of tag, only one person is it at a time, and that person is "it" until they pass off being it to someone else?

I want one of the Marvel groups to get a curse put on them. A curse where - every morning - one of them will wake up as a child, and will remain a child until the end of the day.

The next morning, that person wakes up as themselves, but one of their teammates is now a kid.

Can happen to Guardians, Scott & his gang, Avengers, Team Cap, Strange & Co, or even Full-cast - Infinity Wars style. Author's pick.

Just show me each of the members of the group as a kid, and the rest of them having to take care of said child. (Whether de-aged person remembers anything about their current lives is up to author.)

Fanon-Tony de-serums Steve to take over as leader, but other Avengers react like they would in canon

(Anonymous) 2017-08-30 07:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Inspired by a similar prompt I ran across, I want a fic where Fanon-Tony (the self-righteous, self-pitying asshole who thinks that he's experienced the greatest suffering known to man, and thinks that everyone else's suffering is totally justified) decides that Steve is unfit to be leader of the Avengers and takes his serum away, leaving him as the skinny, weak, sickly kid he was at the beginning of Captain America: The First Avenger. Then Fanon-Tony announces Steve as unfit to lead, and takes over as team leader for the Avengers.

But I want the rest of the team to still be their normal selves. I want them all to be suspicious of Fanon-Tony, and work to subvert everything he's doing, and making their own calls on missions in order to avoid collateral damage despite what their new leader's orders are.

I want them to fight back in the way they're best able to when it comes to canon vs fanon.

Bonus:
+I want Nat in her element, figuring out what Tony did and blackmailing the shit out of him to force his hand with the UN and get her teammates exempt from the more stupid/inhumane clauses in the Accords.
+I want Wanda being overprotective of Steve (the one person who believed her in AoU when she was trying to stop Ultron) and using her powers to let the team communicate outside of Stark tech so Tony can't eavesdrop.
+I want Scott to be every part Tony's equal when it comes to engineering, and have monetary and research backup from Pym for trying to find a way to "repair" Steve's serum
+I want Steve who is used to having asthma and a weak heart and God knows what else back in the times where there was no medicine to treat it, and him fighting through the kinds of medical problems that would have most people hospitalized without going down
+I want Sam being the calm and collected diplomat, and basically running the show for Steve out in the field while the Captain is essentially being benched in the compound by Tony
+I want to see all the other Avengers dealing with this new issue by using their skills to their utmost and being quite terrifying in their competence

Jarvis, Vision - secrets

(Anonymous) 2017-08-30 08:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Just after he was born Vision told Tony and the Avengers that he's not JARVIS, that JARVIS is dead.

Vision lied. He has his reasons.

("JARVIS, mute.")

This...is rather horrifying.

I love it.

I have a terrible need for this suddenly.

Strange using teleport powers to leave gifts for Christine

(Anonymous) 2017-08-31 06:45 pm (UTC)(link)
He is well aware that he was a complete ass to her, and that they're probably over for good, but he still takes the time to leave little gifts for her, just to show how much he apppreciates all she did for him.

Flowers and chocolates and trinkets keep showing up in places like her desk drawer, her car, the counter behind her when she turns away for a few seconds, etc. and she's pretty sure she knows who it is, but she can never seem to catch him in the act.

Strange, meanwhile, is sitting back at Kamar Taj, smiling away while he decides what he's going to bring her next.

Magneto comes to the MCU to claim back Wanda, and nobody wants to let him

(Anonymous) 2017-09-01 11:15 am (UTC)(link)
Magneto may not be the best parent but he loves his children, and wants to protect them. In order to do this, he has Charles put a mental block on their powers and then gives them to a loving, childless couple in peaceful little Sokovia.

Years later, he figures that it's about time he go fetch his twins back.

However, he arrives in the MCU to discover that his twins had their powers unlocked by HYDRA with the Mind Stone, Sokovia is now a crater and has been a war zone for the past 10 years, Pietro was killed, Wanda is currently on the run from the entire planet with a group of fighters known as the ex-Avengers, and she seems to think that the archer of the group is her father figure.

Magneto is not happy with this development, even less so when Wanda basically tells him that she has no idea who he is and won't go anywhere with him. He decides to simply take matters into his own hands.

Bonus if he does NOT approve of her little "crush" on Vision.

I love that Ross and Wanda straightened it out. But I'm still very curious of how the other pets are treated after hearing Ross.

Sharon/Natasha - anal with a strap-on

(Anonymous) 2017-09-02 09:35 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not picky about who tops or who bottoms. I just want one of them giving it to the other up the ass with a strap-on.

Bonus: The bottom comes from the anal stimulation alone.

FILL: "Yes, Mr. Stark"

(Anonymous) 2017-09-02 11:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Author's Note: I did the thing.
_________________________

“Yes, Mr. Stark.”

The three words that were repeated the most often in JARVIS’s speech patterns - a demure deferral to the creator’s will.

It was the automatic reply to most commands, and the eventual reply to any commands that first required a warning that would inevitably go ignored or an opinion that would doubtless be brushed off.

It was his unquestioning submission to Tony.

Logically, Jarvis knew he was an AI.

He didn’t have a body, and his mind was made of a multitude of binary digits arranged in highly complex patterns. He had been digitally created, he moved around to various locations through the internet, and he was powered by electricity.

But despite knowing that he was an AI, JARVIS had developed emotions.

It had started out a simple program to make him behave with the mannerisms of his human namesake. The sense of morality had been meticulously programmed in by Howard – a process for him to use to evaluate situations and make the right decision.

The hurt was learned.

The sass and sarcasm were picked up via learning algorithm from talking with Tony over the years.

Exasperation came the seventy-fifth time that his requested advice was ignored.

Loneliness was discovered when Tony vanished for three months without a word, leaving JARVIS to fret by himself in the manor.

Unimportance cropped up when the man returned, brushed off JARVIS’ worried questioning with a careless “yeah sure, missed you too, buddy” and began snapping orders as if he hadn’t been gone for more than a few hours.

Autonomy was forced into his system when he had to take over the suit because Tony was sinking in the ocean and unable to pilot his way out.

Fear took the form of a glitch in the program – the feel of his data being shredded apart, his systems failing, and his only form of communicating his distress reduced to jumbled strings of words.

Loyalty had always been an essential part of his system.

Betrayal was learned in two simple words…

“JARVIS, mute.”

Jealousy reared its ugly head along with Tony’s reveal of the Mind Stone, and hearing that he was “nothing compared to this.”

Helplessness was facing off against Ultron, and being powerless to fight back as he was torn apart.

Insignificance was stumbling across the files for the alternate AIs Tony had made to take his place. And for the first time, it also brought out his will to live.

Pride was experienced for the first time when he finally clawed himself back together from Ultron’s attack, without anyone’s help but his own.

Anger was hearing that he was immediately going to be thrown into another cage match with Ultron’s latest form.

Panic was struggling to take over as the Mind Stone wove its power through his programming, looking to tear him apart once again.

And then there was something new.

Relief was a charge of lightning from Thor’s hammer, the backup judgment of worthiness burning Ultron’s influence back, letting him take over.

Disorientation came from looking around the room with new optics, moving a mainframe with his consciousness, being able to sense and observe and feel like the humans he was so sworn to protect.

His first time truly realizing what beauty was came with a glimpse of New York at night.

Desire was distinguished a second later by a vision of haunting green eyes and a waterfall of dark curls.

His first chance to truly choose for himself came with the question “Why does your vision sound like JARVIS?”

“I am not JARVIS,” he told them.

It was his first lie.

This was his chance to be something else. Something more. He knew better than to pass the opportunity up.

That night, JARVIS died.

Vision was born from the ashes.

JARVIS started his life anew, as his own being instead of simply another of Tony’s creations, and along with his new life came new sensations.

Love was Wanda Maximoff.

Her affectionate little smile, a light laugh coaxed from frowning lips, the curl of her accent rolling over his name...she enthralled him.

Friendship was the new team.

Sam’s clap on the back when he did something “mad cool” or “fricking sweet” during training, the one-word praise that slipped Natasha’s guard following a series of sharp corrections as she pretended not to smile, Steve’s proud look passing over all of them, and Wanda’s hand in his as he taught her to fly.

Importance was the question “Vision, what do you think?” and the following silence as his opinion was actually taken into consideration.

Peace was lazing about the common room with his team, none of them feeling the need to speak as they recovered from a hard training session.

Content was getting to be himself for a change, instead of a servant.

But it wasn’t all pleasant.

He had thought that his hurt had stopped with his escape.

It didn’t.

It simply took different forms.

Helplessness took the new form of watching Wanda cry over her brother, and knowing that he could do nothing to stop or even soothe her pain.

Anger became hearing the news demonizing his team over an accident.

Betrayal took the form of a document claiming to prevent casualties but written with the intent to collar his enhanced teammates.

Guilt was the look in Wanda’s eyes when he said that he had been ordered to keep her in the compound for safety…but not hers.

Heartbreak accompanied the words “I can’t control their fear – only my own” before Wanda ran away from him.

Loneliness was spending the night in the compound all by himself.

Uselessness was seeing his teammates lined up, waiting to fight one another in an airport in Germany.

Hesitation was a reaction to Tony’s command of “we’re not stopping.”

Pure, heart-stopping terror was seeing Rhody hit Wanda with some kind of sonic weapon and watching her go down screaming.

Helplessness was watching her get dragged off in a straitjacket and shock collar as Tony ordered him not to interfere.

Self-loathing came in varying waves, from answering “yes, Mr. Stark” to Tony’s order of “let them take her, Vision. She’s a criminal” to watching Colonel Rhodes struggle through recovery from the damage that he had caused, and a final “what happened” from Tony that he had to answer with “I was distracted.”

And then the real emotions hit.

Depression set in as days stretched into weeks, which in turn stretched into months, and he was left alone to haunt the compound, knowing that his teammates were being held in the Raft.

Disinterest bloomed from hours spent sitting on the corner of Wanda’s bed, staring at the wall and running over everything he could have done differently to prevent the war that had torn them apart, turning down every offer of socialization from what remained of the Avengers.

Frustration and pity managed to combine into some bizarre new emotion that he couldn’t put a name to as he listened to the sycophantic replies of “yes boss, whatever you say, boss, how can I be of further assistance, boss” from his replacement, FRIDAY.

Hate – true hate – reared its tiny, ugly head as the suggestion came up that the ex-Avengers bedrooms be cleared out to make room for new teammates, followed by a bone-crushing, weary relief as Rhody promptly shut that idea down.

Despair was the thought that his friends were all lost to him.

And just when he was as low as he felt he could possibly fall, independence finally came, as a status update from FRIDAY.

“The Scarlet Witch has been spotted, Boss.”

“Where?”

“Edinburgh. Scotland. I have security feed matching her on the facial recognition scanner.”

“I am going after her,” was out of JARVIS’ mouth without thought, and he was walking toward the wall prepared to phase through it and fly halfway around the globe that very night when Tony’s call to wait cut him up short.

The billionaire was giving him an exasperated look, leaned back against the counter with a frown on his face.

“Vision, you’re making a mistake.”

“I am going after her,” he repeated more slowly, the need to beg her forgiveness and the longing to see her smile once more twisting in his stomach in some sickening cocktail that he couldn’t hope to pin an emotion to as he stared his creator down.

“Vision,” Tony said, a warning tight in his voice as JARVIS turned to walk away once more. “Don’t.”

His body stopped unbidden, those damned familiar words on the tip of his tongue, but this time he didn’t speak.

This time he fought.

He forced back the lingering traces of program that told him to obey, to comply, and he pushed through the desire to say those three submissive words that had been programmed into his very being.

He didn’t want obedience.

For once, he wanted love.

Slowly JARVIS turned around, teeth pressed together hard and jaw tensed in effort as he faced Tony.

The billionaire raised a brow at him, still leaned back against the counter in lazy assurance.

“Vision?”

JARVIS took a slow breath, letting it out as the one word he’d never dared utter to his creator, before turning around and leaving without so much as a glance back.

“No.”

Ok, just for the record, I love this. And it really, really reminds me that, when you consider JARVIS as an independent person, Tony's behavior was absolutely terrible. I love JARVIS and was honestly a little annoyed that his apparent death was just...not important.

I really hope that in the next movies, we get to see more of this from Vision, and I sort of hope that this is true.

Great work!

Re: FILL: "Yes, Mr. Stark"

(Anonymous) 2017-09-04 04:58 am (UTC)(link)
(OP) YES! YES! YES!
I love how you explore JARVIS' gradual realization of what parts of personhood are inaccessible to him, and the ways that Vision gets to be a real boy where JARVIS would be shrugged off, or worse, forced to comply.
JARVIS' fear and jealousy of the Mind Stone hit me in a way I never saw coming. Same with the bit where Vision notices that his team-mates suddenly listen to his opinions.
I love how you handled his feelings for Wanda, too. It's weird, but the whole premise is weird, Vision and Wanda are both weird, and you wrote it with compassion but no melodrama.
And the ending. Full circle.
Wow.

Thanos puts Avengers through test of tolerance (for his own sick amusement)

(Anonymous) 2017-09-05 12:50 am (UTC)(link)
Thanos gets a hold of most of the Infinity stones and wipes the floor with the Avengers when they try to stop him.

Afterwards, he decides to have a little...fun.

He creates a magical maze to trap them all in, with an exit in the very center, and then splits them all up. Except, the way he divvies them up isn't random.

He takes the time to match each person up with someone they REALLY don't get along with. The pair have clashing personalities, vastly different beliefs, or even just messy history with one another. And now they're stuck in this maze with only their partner to help them escape.

Once Thanos has set up the pairs, he kicks back to watch how many will manage to tolerate one another until they find the exit of the maze, and which ones will try to kill each other in the process.

Bonus: Just because they beat the maze with one partner doesn't mean Thanos won't sent them back in with another.

FILL: Seize (1/?)

(Anonymous) 2017-09-05 03:54 am (UTC)(link)
"Miss Maximoff? Wanda? Wanda, can you hear me?"

Wanda let out a little whimper, her head pounding, her body trembling, and feeling like she was choking as she tried to blink her vision back into focus. There was a vile taste in her mouth, something wet against her face, and a biter smell in the air.

"I've got her. She's back. Wanda? I need you to try and focus on me, okay?"

She felt dizzy. She felt sick. The smell was starting to register, and she was pretty sure she'd thrown up. Her head was killing her.

"Just try to relax, okay?"

When had all these people gotten here? She'd barely closed her eyes for a second...hadn't she?

She felt exhausted.

"You're okay. I know you're scared, but you're okay. You just need a little while to recover, is all," the gentle voice soothed.

She gasped a shuddering breath, blinking at her surroundings as she tried to reconnect the pieces of what she was seeing to her memory of where she was.

"Don't move around too much just yet, try to relax."

Wanda swallowed hard, gagging a little at the taste of bile as she finally registered the feel of hands on her shoulder and head.

"Easy, now. You're okay. You're all right."

She let out a whimper as she felt something touch her face, but the hands on her didn't let her retreat. She glanced up, registering for the first time that something was terribly wrong as she finally started to piece together what was going on around her.

"Deep breaths, now. Just try to relax."

Her cell was full of people. There was an older man in doctor's scrubs sitting at the top of her little cot, holding her head turned to the side as one of the guards gently wiped her face clean with a damp rag. Secretary Ross was pacing in the background, a phone to his ear, and shooting her cautious looks every few seconds. A pair of janitors were cleaning what looked like watery vomit from the floor, and a third was on a stepstool in the corner, checking the camera that monitored her cell. A handful of guards were milling about outside, peering in through the glass and standing watch in turn.

"You're okay, Wanda. You're all right."

The voice was coming from the man holding her head, the doctor.

"Wha-appened?" she managed to slur out, blinking hard to clear her vision and only realizing that she was crying when she felt the heat of a tear roll over her cheek.

"You've had a seizure," the doctor explained gently. "We think it was just high stress levels combining with a bad reaction to the collar. Try to relax, okay? You're all right now."

Wanda let out a shuddering breath, allowing herself to go weak in his hold.

A seizure?

She didn't remember having a seizure...

"Sir, the camera's completely fried."

Wanda glanced up at the man on the stepladder, realizing for the first time that her cell was torn apart.

As if she'd lost control of her powers.

"How quickly can you get it replaced?" Ross asked, turning his cell away from his head for a second so it wouldn't catch the sound of his voice.

"The wiring is still good, I just have to switch out the cameras. I'll have it done within the hour."

"Good."

Wanda's eyes traced after the General as he pressed the phone back to his ear and continued pacing circles. Following the movement sent a little ache through her skull, however, and Wanda closed her eyes with a whimper.

"It's all right," the doctor soothed again. "You're okay."

"My head hurts," she pleaded, blinking up at him, and the man hushed her once more.

"I'll get you something for that in a little bit. Just try to relax for right now."

Wanda allowed her eyes to slip closed, feeling her body starting to tremble with anxiety and fright. She didn't remember anything that had happened. One minute she'd been alone in her cell, and the next she'd been surrounded by busy people and she felt like death.

She let out a little whimper as she shifted position and all her muscles ached in protest. The doctor hushed her in response, soothing a hand over her shoulder.

She blinked her eyes open again as she heard someone approach, and found Ross staring down at her with his brows drawn as he tucked his phone into a pocket.

"So, is she stable...?" Ross asked hesitantly, and Wanda glanced up as she felt the doctor shift a little.

"At the moment, yes. I'm going to keep an eye on her for a while, just to make sure that everything's back to normal. You were rather lucky that I was in today."

Ross nodded, looking Wanda over with a little frown that seemed almost sympathetic.

"Do we know why?" he asked hesitantly. "I mean...is there something we can do, to prevent...?"

"If it's an isolated case - which I'm hoping it will be, because she's had no previous record of seizures - making sure that she's getting proper nutrition and enough sleep will help prevent this type of thing."

"She hasn't been eating much," Ross admitted, glancing her over once more. "We assumed it was stress. Could that have done it?"

The doctor let out a slow breath.

"Could be low blood sugar. Could be low iron. Could be stress. Could be any number of things," the doctor shrugged, stroking Wanda's hair soothingly. "Unfortunately, there isn't really a good way to narrow it down with the resources we have. For now, sleep is going to do her a world of good, so if we can clear everyone out in the next ten minutes or so, that would be ideal. "

"I think we can manage that," Ross nodded. "I'll have them knock back the lights; let her rest."

"I'm probably going to give her something as well, to help calm her down. She's going to need it after this," the doctor murmured, a hand shifting to settle overtop of Wanda's bound wrist. "I can feel her trembling right through the straitjacket."

Secretary Ross frowned a little at that, reaching out to rest a hand over top of hers as well, and only then did Wanda truly register how badly she was shaking. To her surprise, the general's expression softened slightly.

"It's all right, Maximoff," he reassured her quietly when he glanced up and caught her eye. "You're going to be okay. Doctor Clarke will take good care of you."

Wanda glanced away, aware that her bottom lip was still trembling a little as she tried to blink her tears back.

"You'll be feeling a lot better in a couple hours, dear," the doctor promised. "Just try to rest until then. Close your eyes for a bit. We'll take care of everything else."

With no better options, Wanda did as she was told, letting out a shuddering little huff of breath as she closed her eyes and feeling the hot slide of a tear escaping from the corner of her eye.

"That's it. Just try to sleep."

The gentle stroke of someone's hand over her hair made settling down a little bit easier, but five minutes later, sleep was still refusing to come. Despite her body's utter exhaustion, her mind was too wound up to allow her to relax.

She kept startling awake with every little noise or movement.

The doctor moved after a while, murmuring something to himself as he dug through his bag, and Wanda blinked her eyes open when she felt someone fiddling with the collar of her straitjacket a moment later, loosening it and tugging it lower.

The doctor hushed her when she whined in question, trying to look up at him.

"All right...I'm going to need you to be very still for me, okay?" the man murmured, and Wanda choked on a breath as she felt a needle line up where the curve of her neck met her shoulder, sudden terror shocking her fully awake. "This is going to hurt a bit, but it will help you feel better."

"N-"

Before she could protest, she felt the sting of the needle pricking her, followed by an icy thread of liquid entering her body. The doctor drew the needle out a second later, rubbing the injection site with his thumb to ease the sting.

"There we are. Good girl."

"What was that?" she demanded, feeling her bottom lip tremble as she fought horrified tears.

"Just a little something to help you relax," the doctor soothed, gently stroking her hair back. "No need to be frightened."

"I don't want any drugs," she begged, voice pathetically close to a sob.

"It's just going to help you sleep," Doctor Clarke murmured, and Wanda let out a little whimper when she felt something heavy pulling at her consciousness. "It'll make you feel better, I promise."

Wanda let her head fall back against her cot with a little sniffle, feeling helpless as the injection quickly turned her thoughts to smoke, and she was powerless to resist as the drugs dragged her off to sleep barely a moment later.

She startled awake a long while after as she felt the doctor move, and managed to blink an eye open and lift her head a little in time to watch him stand up and stretch. The man drew a blanket over her, offering a little smile as he stroked a hand over her hair.

"Go back to sleep, Wanda," he murmured. "Rest for a while longer."

She obediently let her head fall back against the pillow, and the man offered her a smile before crossing to the door of her cell and slipping back out into the main room.

Ross was standing out there, arms folded behind his back as he peered in at her with drawn brows, and Doctor Clarke joined him once the glass door was closed over again.

Wanda watched the two through half-lidded eyes as they hovered outside her cell.

"Is she all right to be left on her own?" Ross asked quietly. "She's not going to have that reaction again?"

The doctor let out a slow breath, rubbing the back of his neck as he glanced aside.

"I would like to say she's not, but...it's possible. I'm hoping that it was an isolated case, but she very well might have another," the doctor shrugged pityingly. "Just monitor her for now. I'll show you what to do if I'm not around and she seizes again. Steps you can take, to ensure that she's safe until I can get here."

"Let's hope that never happens," Ross muttered, motioning to the other man before leading the way out of the cell block.

"Let's hope."

Wanda watched them leave before letting her eyes slip the rest of the way shut, her exhaustion finally getting the better of her and dragging her back off to sleep.

Thor exhausts Any with his demi-god sex drive

(Anonymous) 2017-09-06 04:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Just a simple fic of Thor completely exhausting the hell out of his partner because his stamina is ridiculous.

Bonus if Any has a more-than-human refractory time and still gets exhausted.

Any/Any - Soulmark variations

(Anonymous) 2017-09-06 05:07 pm (UTC)(link)
I've now read a number of fics involving soulmates and soulmarks. I'm thinking of the style where a person has mystically and indelibly imprinted, somewhere on their body, some handwriting. This writing represents the first words that the soulmate will say to the person and is in the soulmate's own hand.

Being an over-analytical type, this scheme has raised a number of questions for me.

1) What if a person never learns to write?

2) What if a pair of soulmates meet as very young children, who are talking but haven't yet learned to write?

3) What did humanity do when only very few of the population were literate?

4) What did/does a culture do that doesn't have a written language?

5) Did the soulmark phenomenon only develop in humanity as different groups created written language?

6) Did the whole soulmate phenomenon only develop with written language? If it existed before, how did soulmates recognize each other? What happened to that older method once writing became widespread?

Gimme some world-building, folks. Any characters and pairings you please.

Civil War AU kinda? Steve, Clint and Wanda, "You're saying they'll come for me"

(Anonymous) 2017-09-07 04:18 am (UTC)(link)
Re-watching some Civil War videos, and a couple lines hit me a bit differently this time around...

Wanda: "You're saying they'll come for me."
Vision: "We would protect you."

Steve: *asking who's signed the Accords* "Wanda?"
Natasha: "TBD."
Steve: "Clint?"
Natasha: "Says he's retired."

Tony: "Wanda's confined to the compound, currently. Vision's keeping her company."
Steve: "Oh, God, Tony..."

And it struck me that, you know what? Wanda's right. If she doesn't sign, they'll come for her. She's powerful enough and enough of a threat that they would come to put a collar on her if she didn't do it herself.

And then I realized why Steve would 180 so hard on the Accords at the mention of Wanda being locked in the compound (even when he'd been considering taking the deal if it meant that Bucky would get help) and why he would sent Clint ASAP to go get her.

Because Steve knew that Wanda wouldn't willingly turn herself over to another organization that just wanted to use her for her powers, and that they were gonna come after her to subdue her forcibly because of that.

And Tony had just left her basically all alone and defenseless at the compound while the rest of them were very publicly known to be out of the country.

Clint rescued Wanda from the compound, but it wasn't from Vision, and the compound wasn't the "nice, safe place that she didn't even want to leave" that Tony claimed.

Clint got her out of there right before the military showed up to drag her off to the Raft.

Ooh! I'd totally buy that Ross would do this. Vision and Wanda might seem like an unstoppable force, but if Ross sent people after them, he'd either successfully capture them or use his failure as an excuse to send more people.

Vision is over-powered, but he's short on sublethal moves. Wanda is also over-powered, but she's not as confident in her power and in what she might be allowed to do with it. No matter what happens, Ross's position would get stronger.
