I can't wait to see Clint finally break. Like a long term habit rocketing towards extinction, him snarling and snapping and fighting constantly- until he (probably) just stops. Breaks completely and gives in.... Such an amazing detail, to show him winding up before that, if that's the way you're planning to go.
